Free email, once upon a time.
mailadd.com started in 2010 as a lightweight email experiment. The idea was simple: anyone could register a free @mailadd.com address β no strings attached, just a clean, temporary inbox with optional forwarding. Over the years, thousands of addresses were created.
β The project is now finished. We stopped accepting new registrations in 2015, and the mail servers have been quiet for years. But here's the important part: if you still use an @mailadd.com address, it will keep working exactly as before. No disruption, no deactivation.
We believe in digital continuity. Every address that was ever created remains valid for receiving (and forwarding) email β forever. The domain will stay online, and our minimal forward engine stays on, just to serve the existing accounts.
If you have an @mailadd.com address that you still use β for forwarding, as a login, or just to receive mail β rest assured: it will continue to work exactly as it always has. The project may be βfinishedβ, but we made a commitment to never disable or delete existing accounts.
